Frequently asked questions
Who can join SkyKoda Partners?
Travel agencies, independent travel agents, corporate travel desks, and online partners such as creators, bloggers and website owners. Individuals and companies can both apply.
Do I need a registered business?
No. If you have a business, you verify it. If you do not, you can verify with your own identity instead.
Does it cost anything to join?
The partner account is free. You fund your wallet to pay for the tickets you book. The branded booking website is an optional monthly plan, and you see the price before you switch it on.
How do I sign up?
Create your account, add your business details and send your application. It takes about two minutes. You can sign in at any time to check its status; selling access is switched on after we approve it.
How do I earn?
In two ways. You add your own markup, which is yours. You also earn a share of the airline commission on eligible fares: it varies by airline and fare, not every fare pays commission, and the amount is shown before you book.
Which airlines can I book?
The same airlines you find on SkyKoda.com, international and Nigerian domestic, subject to availability.
Is there a referral link?
No. Online partners sell through their own booking website or the search box on their site, so customers book and pay under your brand.
Will my customers see my brand?
Yes. Your logo and business name are on your booking website, and your brand name is shown on the booking confirmation and ticket.
Do I need my own website?
No. You can book for your customers straight from your dashboard. A website is only needed if you want customers to book online themselves.
How do I pay for tickets?
For bookings you make in your dashboard, from your wallet: top it up by card or bank transfer and pay in one click. On your booking website and search box, your customer pays online. A ticket is only issued after the payment is confirmed.
How do I get paid?
Your earnings on each ticketed booking are recorded in your account. Payouts are sent by bank transfer to your verified bank account.
What if something goes wrong with a booking?
If a ticket cannot be issued, the payment goes back to your wallet. For changes, cancellations and refunds, send a request on the booking and our team handles it with the airline. The airline's fare rules and charges apply.
Is my account separate from other partners?
Yes. Each partner sees only their own bookings, customers, balance and settings. Sign-in, payouts and bank details are protected with two-step verification.
